Hi,
I live in the states and have been trying to purchase the new Freebass EP but am not able to place an order without entering a UK address.
Am I able to purchase/download this EP if I'm overseas and, if so, how do I go about it?
Please advise.

Thank you for pointing this out.
This is a bug where an unregistered user cannot select any country other than the UK when making a purchase.
We are working to fix this problem, and expect it to be fixed in the next few days.
Registered users can select any country during registration. If you do not wish to wait until the problem is fixed you can register for an account, then once logged in make your purchase.

I also tried to edit my profile but there's no field for country etc.
Basically, foreigners are all putting fake British addresses, hoping this won't bring trouble in the future.
After all, you get the money, they get the tracks, it's how it's meant to be, isn't it? You should thank them for not turning to illegal file sharing after seeing the mess of this shop.
BUT I'd like to post about the EP on Facebook and on my blog and recommend it, I really like the most of it and have been a huge fan of New Order and anything else with Hooky involved, but I can't post about it, you know?
I can't say to my Italian readers: "Hey this EP is great but you know what, to purchase it you must put a fake British address".
It's ridiculous, you really should sort this mess.
I think the best option would be having the EP available here at a cheaper price and on iTunes at full price, because iTunes is where people still buy music, and there are a number of reasons, starting with ease of use.
Hacienda Records makes Bad Lieutenant's Triple Echo look like Parlophone. At least they're on iTunes and you had a simple and effective order page for the hard copy on Townsend Records.
It's a shame because the artists involved in Freebass are legends and would have deserved something better.
Sorry if I sound hard, but I love the idea of the Hacienda comeback as a venue and label and I'd like to see it working, that's why I bother complaining, if I didn't care I wouldn't be arsed to complain... the risk is the most of the visitors who try purchasing simply don't care enough, close the browser tab and go somewhere else.

I've not had this problem because I've downloaded from the uk, it must be a bummer to have to tick the wrong box.
I thought Hooky owned the site, if thats the case he must have decided where it got sold.

Actually the Support Admin says it's a bug, it would make no sense if Hooky actually decided to sell it in UK only as the last problem he has is licensing rights, since it's all home made.
The only reason I thought behind the problem was the payment system being limited to the UK, but I want to believe it's a bug. If it was the payment system it should be abandoned ASAP since it makes no sense the bassist of one of the most legendary bands of the last 30 years is self releasing stuff and can't sell outside his own country.
I mean, I've seen MySpace beginners do better businness.
It's all very Factory style, but it's taking it way too far.

Thank you for your patience. This bug has now been fixed and users can register from any of the countries listed in the FAQ section of the site.

Excellent. I've been able to order with my real address and it worked perfectly. I'd just correct the FAQ because I haven't received a mail with the download link, but found it in the FILES section of my profile.
I'm happy I can now recommend people to buy the Freebass EP here.

Hooky ALWAYS complains about illegal file sharing and then doesn't allow us to purchase his EP.
