A squelchy acid trax kicks off the mix, betraying Justin’s pre-deliction for the genre as Ulysses’ 'Acid Reflect' slowly builds before rocking the bloc with a brilliantly Balearic disco break. Switching breathlessly back and forth across styles, the slightly malevolent air of James Curd’s 'Open Up Your Mind' gives way to a percussive belter as spoken vocals and vogueish Chicagoan vibes drive the mix forward.

The Detroit styled Kink remix of 'So In Love With You' rolls a phatly oldschool bassline across the floor and is swiftly followed by producer de jour, Jamie Jones’ rerub of Green Velvet’s 'Flash' which fizzes finely along with Warp Records styling ‘n bass ‘n bleeps before the sumptuous and sublime light European techno-electro of the first Deadstock 33s tune in the mix, hits halfway.

A gospel choir arrives soon after matched to some dancefloor destroying grooves, a theme that continues up to the end of the hour long workout with Felix Da Housecat and DJ Wood supplying uncompromising dark euro techno nonchalance before the second Deadstock 33s track winds up at the end, showing off JR’s grasp of minimal Moroder styled classic machine music.

All in all, a sensationally stylish mix which sees JR shooting the finest tracks all across the hour.
